SOYBEAN PROJECT

Agric-Care Uganda has started soybean project where it has brought full value chain concept into a commercial soybean production in West Nile. the company produces about 10 metric tons and out source soybean from its network of soybean growers throught out West Nile region.

Agric-Care soybean crop project is carefully customized to meet local market needs. By using diverse farming practices, harvesting techniques, and storage technologies, we target to develop a strong soybean value chain for biofuels, grain, protein and fiber sources for both humans and animals.

Agric-Care soybean project is managed by the company team on-site, including: supervision and training (Know-how transfer) to produce high quality soybean.

The company works with a network of over 2000 soybean farmers in West Nile. We empower the farmers to omong other things:- enables all field and post-harvest tasks are executed in the most proficient and timely manner, ensures optimal in-field performance, for the assurance of uniform fields and optimal use of resources, allows uniform germination, as well as maximal yield and crop quality and to ensures minimal yield loss, optimal storage and marketing.

We are currently planning for a large processing plants for 5 key soybean products for export market. It will be a challenge, which we are looking forward to.
