Our hybrid maize varieties are bred for high yield (up to 9–12 tons/ha under good management), tolerance to drought, and resistance to common diseases such as gray leaf spot and maize streak virus. They mature in 90–120 days, ideal for both first and second seasons in central, eastern, and northern Uganda.
We supply open‑pollinated and hybrid vegetable seeds with high germination rates and uniformity. Tomato varieties (e.g., Tengeru 2010, Rio Grande) resist bacterial wilt; cabbage (Globe Master) produces firm, heavy heads; onions (Red Creole, Texas Grano) store well; and carrots (Nantes) are sweet and high in beta‑carotene.
Our legume seeds are nitrogen‑fixing, improving soil fertility for subsequent cereals. Bean varieties (K131, NABE 15) are resistant to anthracnose and root rot. Soybeans (Maksoy 3N, 6N, 7N) give 18–22% oil content. Cowpeas (White‑eye) tolerate dry spells and produce high‑quality hay.
Sunflower (Pan 7351, Saffola) yields up to 2.5 tons/ha with 40–45% oil content. Sesame (E8, SPS 3) is drought‑tolerant and commands premium prices for export. Groundnut (Serenut 1–6) is resistant to groundnut rosette virus and leaf spot. We provide inoculants for better nitrogen fixation.
For livestock farmers, we offer high‑protein pasture seeds: Brachiaria (covers quickly, drought‑tolerant), Rhodes grass (hay making), desmodium (legume for dairy), and lablab (dual‑purpose grain and fodder). Using improved pastures can double milk production and reduce feed costs.
All seeds are certified by Uganda Seed Certification Services (USCS). We provide planting calendars, fertiliser recommendations, and integrated pest management (IPM) guides. For bulk orders (≥50 kg), we offer discounted delivery and free technical training on seed handling and storage.
Whether you need maize for the upcoming season, vegetable seeds for your kitchen garden, or pasture seeds for your livestock, Agric-Care Uganda has you covered. Visit our Improved Seed Market to see current prices, pack sizes, and order online. We deliver across Uganda – from Kampala to Gulu, Mbale to Mbarara, and West Nile to Karamoja.
Using certified improved seeds is the single most cost‑effective way to increase agricultural productivity. Unlike farm‑saved seeds that lose vigour and yield over time, our certified seeds deliver uniform germination, strong early growth, and resistance to local pests and diseases. They also enable you to take advantage of high‑value markets that require specific quality parameters (e.g., large maize grain size, high oil content in sunflower, or white colour in beans). Partner with Agric-Care Uganda for all your seed needs and watch your farm transform.
